Stainless Steel 347 is a stabilized austenitic stainless grade with niobium (columbium) that offers higher corrosion resistance in the intergranular region. Due to this feature, it finds wide application in high-temperature and severe service conditions. SS 347 offers better performance in oxidative and high-temperature conditions than SS 304 and SS 316 and thus finds wide application in aerospace, chemical processing, power generation, and oil & gas applications.
